Gary Tack

Gary Tack was born in Wavertree, Liverpool. He has lived in Lancashire since the 1980s and each time he goes back to his home city he notices the continuing transformations from the City  of his childhood and teenage years.

His work for Look11, on the theme of transition, reflects these changes by use of digitally superimposed images of the old and new.

The work, which covers the outside of a ship container, will eventually degrade and will reflect the transmogrification that time effects.

His work seeks to blur the boundaries between Photography and Art IIlustration.

Gary has a BA in Fine Art from Liverpool Art College and also a BA Hons in Wildlife and Environmental Photography from Lancaster University.

He currently works as a freelance photographer.
