Jan Fyfe

Jan’s work operates at the intersection between time, memory and photographic representation and she is presently looking at the idea that time can be stretched, moulded and rearranged.  Transition suggests a shift, a change or move from one thing to another, both in reality and in time, and her present work explores the point at which the River Mersey spills into Liverpool Bay, where river becomes the sea.  Jan lives in Manchester and has a BA in Documentary and Fine Art Photography and she is at present studying an MA in Photography at Manchester School of Art at Manchester Metroplitan University.
