1st JULY 2011 WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Capture Liverpool, Look11′s mass participation photography competition, in partnership with Redeye Photography Network has now announced the competition winners including ’The People’s Choice Award’ . We invited anyone to send a single photographic image summing up Liverpool for them to create a unique portrait of our city.

370 images were received, and judges chose the first six prizewinners. All images received were on display at Liverpool ONE for four weeks from 27 May to 25 June, and visitors to the show were invited to choose their favourite image to win the People’s Choice award. An estimated 150,000 people saw the show in its busy location on Thomas Steers Way outside John Lewis’s, and many hundreds of votes were received.
