PHOTOGRAPHERS

Giuseppe Lambertino is a freelance photographer based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. He studied and worked as a civil engineer before taking up and studying photography in Glasgow and Bradford. He has developed his practice through a variety of self-initiated projects, commissioned assignments, residencies and exhibitions. He is currently exhibiting in the Bradford Open and has an upcoming exhibition in the Great North Art Show in Ripon. He has collaborated with a number of artists in different fields documenting their work.

For We Are Activists he focused on finding local grassroots people involved in any form of activism whether it be what is considered a ‘big issue’ or not, to provide an alternative multimedia platform and to highlight the fact that lots of ‘regular’ people from all walks of life get involved in a variety of causes. He photographed them, shot footage of them at home and did a question and answer session.
