Photography has always been in Sebastian’s life and as a record of what has been and what may come in the future, he considers it a vital tool. A few years ago he started taking photography a lot more seriously and through various angles has been documenting the things he sees, feels and does in Liverpool and beyond. As a journalist, you may suggest that it comes with the field and that is correct but not everything is recorded in newspapers and sometimes the urge to shoot is just too much. These images document a side of Our city that is in front of us but too often ignored. When streets are abandoned they become dark and empty and as a photographer he finds that fascinating. But can this be a good thing for Liverpool? The answer, for him at least, is no. With regeneration comes waiting and it’s the waiting that makes these places so empty and unloved…
