A selection of images from Ross O\'Toole. \'As the saying goes, you can tell a lot about someone by looking at their shoes. In this continuing project I was interested in framing a subjects feet to explore the above statement. I discovered that wealth, occupation, class, gender and even emotions could be expressed through this form of observation. The most challenging part of the project was to acheive consistancy without repetition. The crucial element to the project was attempting to frame the subject in such a way that it would allow space for the observer to draw their own conclusions. My favourite would have to be the man wearing the crocodile skin sandals. For me, his stance conveys a sense of accomplishment and pride\'.
